Enchanting is one of the most lucrative and helpful professions in the World of Warcraft. But how do you get the components? This is where the skill of Disenchanting comes into play.
Disenchanting
Disenchanting is fairly simple. It is the ability to break down magical items into separate components used in the creation of enchanted items and gear.The materials received from disenchanting vary,depending on the rarity of the magic item being disenchantedand the item’s level. To disenchant an item, use theDisenchant skillfound in your spellbook on any uncommon, rare, or epic gear. If you start disenchanting an item accidentally, moving or hitting the escape button will cancel it.
Disenchanting Caution
While Disenchanting is a great way to boost your enchanting level, you need to be cautious.Once an item has been disenchanted,it is destroyed permanently. So unless you are sure that the items in question can’t be sold, or traded for other enchanting materials, hold onto them.Most items that you receive from disenchanting can also be purchased at the auction house or specific vendors.
