It may not be obvious at first, but choicesdomatter in Triangle Strategy. It affects three things: the ending that you will get, the people who will fight with you, and battles that lie ahead. But for Chapter 17, it affects whatendingyou get. With three difficult options before you, whose plan should you follow: Roland’s, Benedict’s, or Frederica’s?

Actually, there aren’t three paths in this chapter, butfour. The fourth is so-called theGolden Route, and it can only be unlocked by taking a specific path (among other requirements). But if you have failed to do so, then you’ll only have three options: the Utility, Morality, and Liberty routes.

In all three, either Roland, Benedict, or Frederica will leave House Wolffort, respectively. There’s no other way around it.

There are no more branching paths after this. You’ll get saddled with three consecutive battles, an ending, and an epilogue. Characters can still be recruited.

Once you’ve beaten the game once, you’ll unlock New Game Plus! Everything carries over, including levels, so the battles are actually a little harder. New Mental Mock Battle stages will be unlocked, and the Sundry shop will finally restock those upgrade items you need.
