TheHeart Pendantis one of the few staple items in every Rune Factory game. When equipped it increases the amount ofskill EXPyou gain, proving useful to those that can net you better and more items, like cooking, mining, and crafting. It’s usually offered as a late-game request reward, but are there other ways to get it? The answer is a very big yes!
Craft the Heart Pendant
The Heart Pendant is a level40item, so it’ll consume a lot of RP. However, if you can get your crafting skill to at least 20 to 23 (and your level at around 60), you won’t be knocked unconscious from crafting one. It needs aSilver Pendantand aLove Crystalto make. Buy acrafting tablefrom Studio Palmer if you haven’t yet.
The Silver Pendant is a level 20 item that can be crafted withSilver. Love Crystals are dropped by Pixies in theEverlasting DarknessandRigbarth Mazedungeons. If you offerHeinzitems that he likes five times, there’s also a small chance that he will give a Love Crystal in return.

Bet your odds on Terry
Terry is an amazing character, not just because he’s cute, but because hisreturn itemsareaccessories. If you didn’t know, return items are things the people at Rigbarth throw at you if you offer them an item that they likefivetimes. Heinz’s return item are crystals, for example!
Terry loveshand-crafted itemslike shields, armor, and headgear. If you give him five, he’ll give you an accessory in return. If you’re lucky, that item is a Heart Pendant. You can give him as many hand-crafted items as you want in a day, and he’ll reciprocate with a return item every fifth.
By the way, you can craft aSmall Shieldwith justIron—a mineral that can be mined as early as Phoros Woodlands. However, you’ll find a lot of Iron Ore (and Bronze Ores, which drop Iron) in theKelve Volcanic RegionandKelve Lava Cave. Offer Terry five Small Shields, let RNG take the rein, and hope for a Heart Pendant. You can even craft a bunch, save before offering them, and soft reset if you need to!
