The Bloody Finger is most coveted item for players wanting to engage in PvP without having to spend their hard-earned Runes. Normally, invasions are done through using the Festering Bloody Finger but this consumes the item each use. The Bloody Finger can be used repeatedly with no downside and is obtained by doing the White-Faced Varre’s questline.
Starting Varre’s Questline At Rose Church
After defeatingGodrick The Grafted, players can accessLiurnia. Within the lake lies achurchto the west.Varreis located there and will set players on a quest for them. Players will keep returning toRose Churchfor the duration of the quest.
The first objective that Varre asks of the player is to simplyinvadeother players. They must do thisthree timesbefore moving to the next part of the quest. Many of them can be bought from several merchants, includingPatchesin Limgrave. A popular invasion area is just before the following boss inside theRaya Lucaria Academy.

“Killing A Maiden”
After invading at leastthree players, returning to Varre will advance their questline. They require theblood of a maidenthat can easily be obtained in one of three methods.
Chapel of Anticipation
To the Northwest of the Rose Church liesThe Four Belfries. The chest at the top of this area contains anImbued Sword Key, and using this key on the first belfry (the one on the immediate left going down from the chest) will take the player back to thebeginning of the game. After fighting theGrafted Scionplayers only have to go back to where they started the game to find a corpse that they can claim the blood from.
Church of Inhibition
Northeast of the Rose Church is the Church of Inhibition. Acquire blood from a corpse there. This is theeasiest methodof obtaining the blood.
Hyetta
The last option is to kill the NPCHyetta, a blind woman with her own questline and rewards. She wanders toward different locations after players give her key items, but she first appears at theLake-Facing CliffsSite of Grace.
Obtaining The Finger
After the blood is obtained, simply returning to Varre at the Rose Church will reward them with theBloody Finger. This requiresagreeingto what they ask for and some screams of pain from the player character. Once this is done, talking to the NPC again will reward thePureblood Knight’s Medal.
