Floating Hydro Fungi are new enemies that appear in The Chasm’s Underground Mines, which can only be accessed by following The Chasm Delvers World Questline. It can be initiated from Lan, who’s located beside Katheryne in Liyue.
The Floating Hydro Fungi drop the upgrade materialsFungal Spores,Luminescent Pollen, andCrystalline Cyst Dust, which can be used to Ascend characters and weapons.
Where to Find Floating Hydro Fungus
The mushroom-like enemies can only be found in select areas of The Chasm’s Underground Mines. They typically live in dark, slightly damp places with luminous plant life. You can find them in the right pool of the Underground Waterway, as well as on the right side of The Glowing Narrows.
However, most of their population is clustered in theUnderground Waterway, so it’s highly recommended to stick to this area.

Floating Hydro Fungus Battle Tips
The Floating Hydro Fungi are floating shrooms with a relatively docile temperament. They have two main attacks: a headbutt and a floating spit. The floating spit will trap you inside a Hydro bubble, but the little Fungi sometimes fail—trapping themselves instead. Moreover, despite what their name suggests, the Fungi aren’t completely immune to Hydro attacks, so any Element can inflict Damage upon them.
