It’s no secret that nearly everything in Rune Factory 5 is either too expensive or not available without an expansion from Studio Palmer. This is why it helps to craft your own weapons, tools, armors, accessories, and more. However, each item need specific materials to be made. A common material type isClaws. Here’s where to find some!
How to get Claws
The best way to farm Claws is to defeatShadow Panthers, which drop Panther Claws. Shadow Panthers can be found in theKelve Volcanic RegionandAtohl’s End(the cave in the region’s west). If you don’t have access to these places yet, move the story forward.

Shadow Panthers can be tamed, but it won’t drop Panther Claws. Fortunately, they’re available in hoards so you can defeat a couple if ever you need the ingredient. It’s never often that you need a Claw anyway. Some recipes that need Claws can use Fangs as substitutes. In that case, tame aSilver Wolf.
