Genshin Impact’s 2.5 update is on the horizon, meaning a slew of quests, features, and characters will soon join the platform. Thankfully, developer miHoYo has confirmed the maintenance hours for the game—meaning players will, of course, be blocked from all in-game content while the patches are sewn in place.
Before the update becomes available to download,a five-hour maintenance blockwill commence. The starting times for the block will be2pm PST / 4pm EST / 10pm GMT.
The Genshin Impact 2.5 update will be available on February 15at7pm PST / 10pm EST. In the UK, the update will be available from3am GMTonFebruary 16.
Although the update has been mentioned to take upwards offive hours to complete,miHoYo has suggested it could end sooner.

As a way to compensate players for the loss of game time, a total of300 primogemswill be given to each user after the update has completed its rounds. This, of course, amounts to 60 per hour of maintenance. Should the update finish sooner, then players will still take the promised 300.
