Some Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus will require an item to evolve. The Oval Stone is one of these items and will be used to evolve a specific Pokémon. As with all evolution items, the Oval Stone can only be used to evolve a Pokémon one time and then will disappear from the player’s inventory once that Pokémon has evolved. In order to use the item, players will need to have the Pokémon hold the item and then tell it to evolve.
Which Pokémon evolve using the Oval Stone?
The Oval Stone is an evolution item that will allow players to evolveHappiny into Chansey. Evolving Pokémon works a little differently in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Instead of evolving on their own when their evolution requirements are met, players will have to tell the Pokémon to evolve. While the evolution requirements are still around, like reaching a certain level or holding an item, meeting the requirements will not cause Pokémon to evolve on their own. To use the Oval Stone, players should have Happiny hold the item and then visit the in-game menu to evolve it into Chansey.

Where to find the Oval Stone?
The Oval Stone can be obtained in a few different ways. In Jubilife Village, players can find an Oval Stone at theTrading Postfor 400 MP (Merit Points) and also atGinter’s Shopfor 2,000 Pokedollars.Vessain Jubilife Village will reward players with an Oval Stone once they have collected 5 Wisps. Players will also be able to find an Oval Stone occasionally beingcarried by Happiny or Chanseyin the wild.
