Strangers of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins is Square Enix’s latest entry in the Final Fantasy series and releases on May 15, 2025. While Square Enix has been forthcoming with information and footage of the game, there is one statement on theStrangers of Paradise Final Fantasy Originsofficial guidelines that seems odd.
Square Enix has effectivelyforbidden streamers from showcasing any footage of Strangers of Paradise’s ending, even after the game is officially released. you’re able to view the official statement below:
Do not livestream, post videos, or post anything from the ending of the Game – including, without limitation, the content following the final battle up until “The End”, “To be Continued”, “Fin” or similar messaging is displayed.
Many streamers have taken to Twitter to voice their opinion on this matter, includingCohh Carnage. Some are suggesting that nothing will come of streaming the ending of Strangers of Paradise, while others are outright refusing to stream the game due to Square Enix’s stance.
