Nintendo announced today that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is being delayed until Spring of 2023. Previously, Nintendo aimed to have the sequel to the first The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild released in 2022.

Aonuma details more about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, and the video shows Link wielding a broken Master Sword. Aonuma informs fans that the development team wanted to extend the development time and is working diligently on the game. He also offered an apology to those looking forward to playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 this year. The video is available on the officialNintendoYouTube channel as well.
