In WWE 2K22, players will experience several different match formats in various game modes. While most matches can be won by Pin Fall or Submissions, there are a few where the traditional method of elimination doesn’t count. Battle Royale is one of these match formats in WWE 2K22, and you can only win by tossing enemies from the ring over the top rope.
Battle Royale amends the rules from the classic Royal Rumble format and has only six participants inside the ring at once. Grab your enemies withCircle/B, and pull them toward the closest rope direction with theLeft Stick. Throw your enemies up against the rope to engage in the Mini-Game. Alternatively, use the Rumble Finisher by pressingR2/RT + X/A. This is the only method by which players can win Battle Royale matches.
In Battle Royale, each participant can eliminate the others by simply tossing them over the top rope. To eliminate opponents, players can either perform a Rumble Finisher or engage in Rumble Mini-Game. The Mini-Game is similar to Submissions, where players will repeatedly have to press the prompted button to send the enemy over the rope.

However, the Rumble Finisher is a one-shot elimination move. To activate this, players need to fill their Finisher Meter by performing multiple Signature Moves throughout the match. Use the Rumble Finisher to eliminate weak opponents that are leaning on or are close to the ropes.
You will have to win various Battle Royale matches in MyRise to qualify for the Royal Rumble match. Players need to effectively strategize before heading into Battle Royale matches. For instance, using Payback moves like Poison Mist, Low Blow, won’t help eliminate opponents. Similarly, try wearing down the opponents first before taking them to the rope.
