TheSickleis a farm tool given to you in one of the early requests. It’s also sold by the blacksmiths and can be crafted using a Forge. However, the description you’re given is very vague: apparently, you use it to cut plants. Now, why in Rigbarth would you want to do that?
But believe it or not, the Sickle is one of the most essential tools in Rune Factory 5—specifically forfarming. If you use it toslicecrops that can already be harvested, you receive a seed that is one or more levels above the crop that you planted. For example, if you use a sickle on a level one, ready-to-harvest Turnip, it drops a level two Turnip seed. You then replant that seed, sickle it, and replant it again.

Crops can be as high aslevel 10. Once you’ve reached the maximum crop level and continuously ship it, the general store will start selling seeds of the same level.
Seeds obtained using a Sickle can be one or more levels higher if your soil is healthy.Greenifierscan help increase the quality of your soil. This will speed up your race to level 10.
