Units in Triangle Strategy are built differently. Each of them have unique skills, terrain advantages, and a variety of uses depending on the situation. Some units work better with others. Others are great for farming coin or items but shouldn’t be taken to main stage battles.

In this guide, we’ll teach you how to useArchibald, one of the former Ministers of Hyzante.

Archibald character guide

Archibald is asniper. The best way to use him to place him on a very high cliff and have him shoot arrows from a distance. He deals more damage thefurtherhe is from an enemy and hisrangeis very far. His movement and jump are low, so you might need use units likeQuahaugor the Lightwave Quietus to put him into position on some maps.

We highly recommend you don’t use any of Archibald’s skills and instead give him theObsidian Ankletaccessory, which increases the power of his attacks but doesn’t let him generate TPs. He has a passive that increases the range of his normal attacks by one anyway. So really, normal attacks are the way to go.

Class promotions and weapon upgrades

Prioritizeweapon potency, accuracy, andspeedfor Archibald. AtWeapon Rank three, there’s an upgrade that will (further) increase the range of his normal attack. If you pair him with Ezana, who can summon Tempests, you can also unlock theRaging Windsupgrade on the first row.

At Elite Class, he can sometimes kill an enemy with an HP lower than 50%. It’s useful but not a prioritize. He will get a pretty big stat boost though!

Archibald’s Luck stat is fairly low, so there’s no need to unlock the Critical upgrade until the very end. Invest on his strength instead. In addition to the Obsidian Anklet, you’ll want a Strength Bracelet or Armlet on him to capitalize on his inherently high attack
