In Rune Factory 5, you aren’t going to be taking care of cows and chickens. Instead, you are going to be bringing monsters back from your journey to take their place. This system will likely be familiar to those who have played previous games in the Rune Factory series.
You gain the ability to catch monsters during the game’stutorialphase. By using this ability tocastyour spell seal, you may get a monster like a Wooly to join your party easily. At this stage, this spell can help give you a small army ofparty membersto take into the dungeon with you.

To get the monster to stay, you will need to give themgiftsthat they approve of. Monsters, just like the townsfolk, all have their gift preferences. Once you have gained a monster’s trust, you’re able to bring them back to yourbarnif you have one and start having them produce goods or provide a helping hand around your farm.
Keep in mind that there are also methods in the game likebrushingandlove weapons. We are still checking out just how effective these are. Keep in mind that somebossesdo seem tameable, but they will likely require expansive items to bring home.
