The main method of shiny hunting for Potent and Perfect Coromon is to usePotent Scent. This item will increase the odds of finding Potent and Perfect by two rolls. This increases the odds from 1 in 35 to 3 in 35 for Potent Coromon and 1 in 3194 to 3 in 3194 for Perfect Coromon.

How to get shiny Coromon
To get a shiny Coromon, you need its potential to be17 or higher out of 21. A Coromon that has a potential of 17, 18, 19, or 20 will be Potent. Those with 21 will be Perfect Coromon. To increase the odds of getting one of these, you can usePotent Scent.
This is a consumable item that increases the odds of encountering a Potent or Perfect Coromon forsix minutes. An on-screen indicator shows you how long the Potent Scent lasts. Potent and Perfect Coromon will glimmer, and its rarity will appear over its name.
You shouldsave before using the Potent Scent, then spend the six minutes that it’s active looking for Potent and Perfect Coromon. If you do not encounter or catch what you are hunting for, reset your game and try again so you do not waste your Potent Scent.

The Potentiflator will always increase your Coromon’s potential byone point. There is a random chance it can increase it by more, but the rate of higher increases decreases the more potential your Coromon has. This means Coromon with higher potential are less likely to increase by more than one.
Knowing this, any Potent Coromon with a potential of 21 can become a Perfect Coromon through the Potentiflator. Using the machine costs 2,500 Gold, and you hand over your Coromon. After several in-game steps, you will receive a message on your phone, and your Coromon will be ready for pickup.
