As a part of the Avian Ambush quests, you will need to open a vault while holding a chicken in your arms. To achieve this, you will need to find a chicken in the first place from locations likeButter Barnand the go-ahead to any vault of your choice.
Locating and picking a chicken in Fortnite
As mentioned earlier, you will need to find a chicken. The following image contains the location of some landmarks where chickens are available in plenty.
Choose any location of your choice and drop into it. We recommendButter BarnorCovert Cavernas chickens are found in plenty. Once you have located the chicken, go near it and pick it up using the default interactive button of your respective platform,Ffor PC,Trianglefor PlayStation, andYfor Xbox.

Opening a Vault in Fortnite
After picking up the chicken, you need to visit a vault. Select a vault location near your chicken hunting area so that you need not have a long hike with a rooster on your head. Use the image to create a visual waypoint in your head.
After reaching the location, stand in front of the vault, and the door will automatically open on its own, completing the challenge successfully.
Remember, you can always use this strategy to open any vault in solo mode.
