After years of wait, Elden Ring is arriving soon and players who have pre-ordered the game can now preload it on every platform. Dubbed as the successor to Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Demon Souls, Elden Ring will feature several new in-game mechanics that players need to get used to.
Jumping is one of these new in-game mechanics in Elden Ring, and every player can perform this function from the start. The jump is default set on theXbutton forPlayStationandAbutton forXboxfor console players. PC players can remap their Jump button to a different keybind, ideally to the Space key on Mouse Wheel.

How to jump on horseback?
Jump is a mechanic that you may use during combat to perform heavy attacks. Players can master several combination melee attacks while jumping. It is also a mechanic that can be used while on horseback in Elden Ring. To get a mount, players will have to rest atthree different Sites Of Graceafter leaving the Cave of Knowledge.
Visiting theFirst Step,Church of Elleh, andGatefrontwill suffice. After visiting these sites, Melina will appear in a cutscene and provide players with theSpectral Steed Whistle. Using the Spectral Steed Whistle allows players to summon a Horse named Torrent. Players can use the Spectral Steed Whistle to mount the horse and can perform double jump while riding Torrent.
