Vampire Survivors is a frequently updated game, with new characters or features seemingly added almost every fortnight or so. But if you can’t even wait that long, there’s a way to test out new features before they reach the main game. That’s by joining the public beta test version of the game.

To do this, simply head to yourSteam Libraryandright-click Vampire Survivors. Scroll down toProperties, and in the options, selectBetas. In the Betas menu, there’ll be a drop down menu. From there, select the public beta option. You’re now opted into the beta for Vampire Survivors.

The public beta for Vampire Survivors give you access to changes that haven’t yet been reported or released. However, taking part in the beta will also make you unable to earn Steam Achievements until you opt out of the Beta.

Generally, since features are added so quickly, you won’t miss out on new additions for too long if you don’t fancy installing the Beta. It also means you won’t spoil yourself on any additions to the game!
