The Every Waking Moment SMG can be obtained by completing theEssence of Obscurityquest that you get from theLecternon theMoon. There are a few steps that are associated with the quest. These steps are as follows:

The first two parts of the mission are quite straightforward. In fact, if you attempt to complete aLost Sectoron theMoonwith asubmachine gun, you will end up completing the second mission in no time. The first mission might take some grinding, but work through those Public Events and Lost Sectors, and you’ll breeze through the first mission as well. You willneed around 5 Lost Sector runsto complete the first mission.
However, collectingWithered Plumesfrom theCircle of Bonescan be slightly tricky. In order to get to the Circle of Bones, make your way to theHellmouth, and keep following the path till you come to a big room. Inside the room, clear the enemies and go through the door to your right to make your way to the Gatehouse. Keep making your way through theGatehousetill you come to a staircase. Head down the stairs and take the first door to your right.
This path will eventually take you to acircular room. Make your way to the door at the opposite end of the room, then jump across the broken bridge. You will have arrived at the Circle of Bones. From here, turn right and keep following the balcony. You will find the Withered Plumes onone of these ledgeshere.
And with all the three steps completed, return to theLecternandturn in your quest. Once you’ve done that, theEvery Waking Moment Void SMGwill finally be yours. The only problem with this quest is that it drops very rarely. So, consider yourself lucky if you’ve received this quest. If you haven’t, keep defeating enemies and looting chests on the Moon.
