In Ghostwire: Tokyo, players can upgrade their character in various ways. Some upgrades require skill points, which Akito earns each time he levels up, while other upgrades require different resources. One of these materials is Magatama, but how can players acquire it?
To earn Magatama, players mustabsorb Yokaion their journey through Tokyo. Players can find Yokai via side missions like ‘Zashiki-Warashi in GhostWire: Tokyo. Some Yokai also wander around Tokyo outside of side missions. Once you’ve acquired Magatama, you may use it to unlock skills that are otherwise unobtainable.

What are Magatama used for?
Magatama unlocks specific portions of Akito’s skill trees in GhostWire: Tokyo. Depending on what type of skill players are trying to unlock, they’ll need varying levels of Magatama tobreak Skill Locks. The skill shown below requires seven Magatama before players can open it up and use their skill points on the following skill.
Where to find Magatama in Ghostwire: Tokyo
Magatama, as specified above, is found during specificside missionscontaining Yokai. Side missions appear as green circles on the map. When scrolling over a side mission, players can see the rewards from that quest. Look for side missions that list Magatama as a reward.
