Players will be able to utilize two different transfiguration features in this game,Mouthful ModesandCopy Abilities. The difference between Mouthful Modes and Copy Abilities stands that the former allows Kirby to attach to and take the form of inanimate objects while the latter allows him to mimic the abilities of the creatures he inhales. Players can findBlueprintsthroughout the game that allow them toupgrade these Copy Abilities.

What do Blueprints do in Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

Mouthful Modes are not upgradable, though players will be happy to know that the basic Copy Abilities Kirby starts with can evolve into stronger ones after acquiring the necessaryBlueprints. Each Blueprint is found in a specific location around the world and can be returned to theWeapon ShopinWaddle Dee Townto upgrade the Copy Abilities.

Each Copy Ability can be upgraded twice, and there are twenty-four Blueprints in total scattered around the world. In addition to Blueprints though, players will need to acquire enoughStar CoinsandRare Stonesin order to purchase the upgrade.
