In Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, you are given the chance to find different clothing and armor sets that grant you different looks as well as abilities and penalties. Below is a guide of where you can get each of these armor sets and what they offer your character.
Heavy Clothing
You can buy this fromFat Larrywhen you reachDowntown. It gives your character an armor rating of 1.
Light Leather
You can purchase this fromSlaterat theRed SpotinHollywoodafter selecting the ‘the special’ dialogue option when speaking to him. This armor set provides your character with an armor rating of 2 and a -1 in dexterity.

Heavy Leather
You can purchase this fromTsengat hisHerbal Remedies Shopwhen you get toChinatown. This armor provides your characters with an armor rating of 3 and -1 in dexterity.
Body Armor
This armor set is probably the most difficult to get, but only because it requires so many steps. First, you will want to ensure that you are at theTrick or Treatmentquest as it is the only time that you’re able to obtain it. When you meetHeather Poe, you will have to give her your blood to save her, but you much be mindful and choose not to tell her that you are a vampire.
After this, she will appear in front of theVenture Towerin theDowntownarea where you can allow her to stay in the city. After completing theItalian Dinnerquestline, she will provide you with the body armor again in front of the Venture Tower.
You could also obtain the armor set if you did not tellLaCroixaboutMercurio’sfailure during the beginning events of the game. In doing this, you could later obtain the armor set fromMercurioafterThe Enemy of My Enemymission inSanta Monica.
This armor provides your character with an armor rating of 4 and -2 in dexterity.
