The Chaos Shrine’s Side Quest has players travel back to the area to find and defeat the Griffin Queen. The trek to the Griffin Queen has many treasures along the way and plenty of fights to gain ample Job levels and gear. Slashing and Piercing weapons are resisted but the enemy is weak to Blunt weapons. The enemies around it put up quite a fight so here are the ways to beat the Griffin Queen in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.
Stranger of Paradise Griffin Queen Boss Guide
When first coming into the room, there are two ways to go. To the right is a drop that players can go, however, they will takefall damagefor going this route in exchange for getting close to the first Bomb. To the left, enemies will be notified of the player’s presence, but anyFirethat comes in can be absorbed withSoul Shield.
Bombs and Bats can be dealt withAerogafrom Mages or any area of effectCombo Abilities. Swordfighter’sInterceptionAbility is especially useful to automatically dodge incoming Fire attacks while dealing damage. If players haveWhite Mageunlocked, castingProtectandShellwill keep the player safe.
Once the mobs are dealt with, all that remains is theGriffin Queen.

Griffin Queen Moves
The Griffin Queen can fly into the air, swooping down to deal damage. During this time, it’s important to keep an eye out for itsunblockableattack. This can potentially one shot the player on Hard Mode if they don’t have the Defense or HP to withstand it.
On the ground, Griffin Queen has many spinning moves that it will attempt to do. Staggering it with moves that dealBreak Damageis the most effective way of dealing with it. With a weakness to Blunt damage, thePugilistandMageare very good against it.
Ashis the best character to have in the party against this boss as calling on him will deal tons of damage and potentially stagger the boss. All of the boss’s attacks areblockableapart from when it uses Aero magic in the air. It hits hard and using Combo Abilities will lock Jack into the animation for the attack, making this fight a poking battle until it staggers.
