How to defeat the Garden Knight
The Garden Knight has three main attacks in Tunic. The first isslamming its sword down three times. As the Garden Knight slams its weapon down,dodge to the side for each strike. You will have a few seconds after the attack to strike back.
The second attack will see the Garden Knight firing multiple lasers at you. We recommendgetting close to the bossandstepping to the sidejust before it starts shooting. you may simply stand to the side and attack. Hold up your shield and block the lasers if you are caught far away.
The third attack type is where the Garden Knight swings itssword in an arc around it and then slams its weapon down.Keep your distanceor hold up your shield to block the arc for this attack. Be ready to dodge the slam attack for either option.
Tips for the Garden Knight in Tunic
The in-game manual recommends that you havethree attack and defense. While this isn’t necessary, it will make this fight easier. We found a lot of success by using themagic dagger and ice bombsto freeze the Garden Knight while it prepared an attack.
Managing your stamina is key for this battle as the Garden Knight attacks quickly and can easily kill you if you run out of stamina. attempt to save your dodge for when it uses the three slams attack. The other two attack types can be avoided without having to dodge.
