The Glaive is a very versatile weapon in Destiny 2. Not only can you use it to attack, but you’re able to also defend yourself with it. Use thealternate firebutton on your device totrigger the Glaive Shield. When activated, this shield willblock a certain amount of damagefrom incoming attacks for a short period of time.

When you equip your Glaive in Destiny 2, you will notice a small, semi-circular bar right below your crosshair. This barrecharges with every successful hitwith the Glaive. Once this bar is full, you will be able to deploy the Glaive Shield. There is also a flip side to this. You will have to keep dealing damage while the shield is up if you want the shield to stay. If you stop dealing damage, then the shield will deplete after a short period of time. You will have to recharge it before it fills up again.
