Hogwarts Legacy received a large in-depth showcase at the PlayStation State of Play on June 28, 2025. Fans were shown 15-minutes of gameplay and a huge amount of information about the game. Some of the game’s main conflict was shown at the State of Play, with players shown to be working alongsideProfessor Figto uncover aGoblin uprisingwithin the wizarding world.
Multiple scenes ofGoblins fighting witches and wizardswere shown during the showcase, and it would appear that they are the main antagonists. There is also a mysterious figure working alongside them who seems to have a keen interest in the players or another student at Hogwarts.
It was also revealed that the game’s main character can interact with and use ancient magic that is unknown even to some professors at Hogwarts. It is likely that there are forces at play that will surprise players once the game releases during itsHoliday 2022 release window.
