With patch 6.1 still quite a time away (six weeks, by some estimates), Final Fantasy XIV has brought back one of its main in-between patch events: The Moogle Treasure Trove. This time, it’s called Moogle Treasure Trove: The Hunt for Scripture. But what is the Moogle Treasure Trove event, and why should I spend time playing it?

In short, the Moogle Treasure Trove event allows you to unlock Irregular Tomestones, which can be traded to the Itinerant Moogle for mounts, Glamour items, and other goodies. For each event, the Irregular Tomestones are different, and in this event, they’re the Irregular Tomestones of Scripture.

To earn Irregular Tomestones of Scripture, you need to run specific duties. Each delivers a set amount of Tomestones between two and 10. The duties that reward Tomestones are listed below:

Similarly, there are dozens of rewards, including mounts, timeworn maps, and glamour items. We’ve also listed all these below, along with their costs:

This Moogle Treasure Trove event also has a slightly bittersweet element to it: it’s the last time you’ll be able to farm the old Castrum Meridianum and The Praetorium dungeons before they are reworked into 6.1. The Moogle Treasure Trove event also ends at the start of patch 6.1.
