Final Fantasy XIV introduced the Crystalline Conflict, a new PvP mode alongside Patch 6.1 for the popular MMO. This 5v5 mode pits players against one another in a competitive setting. Not only can players fight against other users, but the Crystalline Conflict will have competitive seasons.

Square Enixannounced the launch of the first season of Crystalline Conflict on Apr. 15. Players of any role can partner up for this objective-based game mode to push your team’s crystal through the enemy team’s territory. The one who completes this task first while impeding their adversaries will win.
