Gotham Knights lets players play as four knights who Batman trained. In Gotham Knights, players take on the role of four knights trained by Batman. Recently, creative director Patrick Redding and producer Fleur Marty met withIGNto discuss the game and how much freedom you have in who you choose.
Can I play as the same knight in Gotham Knights all the way through?
You can play asany knightyou wantwhenever you want. Redding clarified that they wanted players to be able to switch characters whenever they wanted but acknowledged that some would have a special bond with one knight over the others. Therefore, players can play the whole game with one knight or switch them out whenever they wish.

Because there are so many upgrades and customizations in the game, this is good news. If you were allowed to upgrade one of the knights but then forced to play as another that you haven’t, it would ruin the pacing and immersion of the game.
