Genshin Impact is a massive open-world game that just keeps expanding. With such a big map, having a mount to traverse it can be a huge help. But so far, the closest thing we have is the Waverider. You’ve probably seen pictures of the Waverider in Liyue and Inazuma and are wondering how to get your boat out of Inazuma.
The Waverider can leave Inazuma without glitching the game, provided you’ve gotten rid of theSakoku Decree. To do this, you must complete all of theInazuma storyline—including both ofRaiden Shogun’s story quests—to remove the storm that surrounds Inazuma.

As soon as Raiden’s second story quest wraps up, you can go to the nearestWaypointand summon your Waverider. You will now be able to sail all the way toLiyueandMondstadtif you wish, without having to worry about being blocked in by storms.
It does take a few minutes to cross the sea, so you will need to be a bit patient. Be sure to regularly check yourmapto ensure you’re sailing toward your desired location.
