Best moves for Alolan Ninetails
Alolan Ninetails’ best stat is Speed, though between its base Attack and Sp. Attack, the latter is much higher. This means that it’s better off withspecial attacksover physical ones like Iron Tail. Given that, below are the best moves it can learn.
Moves that are used by Pokémon of the same type have their base damage increased by 50%. We call thissame-type attack bonus(STAB). Dazzling Gleam and Ice Beam are going to be your Pokémon’s STAB moves. They’re high in power with perfect accuracy.
Meanwhile, Energy Ball is super effective againstRockPokémon, which Alolan Ninetails is weak to. Plus, it gives you extra coverage, as it’s super effective against Water and Ground, as well.
Lastly, Quick Attack is there so your Ninetails can potentially get two turns consecutively (or another turn later on) when it’s first used in Agile Style. After all, Speed is its highest stat and that determines the frequency of turns a Pokémon can get every battle.
