Best Coromon to use in the early game

Yourstarteris a solid Coromon and what you should build your team around. This gives you a typing advantage that can last you throughout the whole game. In the early game, you will encounter a lot of normal type Coromon, so we will start with those.

For normal types, you may’t go wrong withSwurmy or Armado. Swurmy can evolve into Beezel at level 14 or earlier if you increase its attack six times in one battle. Beezel is a powerhouse early on and can inflict massive damage. Armado evolves at level 18 and boasts an incredible attack and defense stat, making it a strong physical wall and attacker.

Silquillis a good choice as well due to its high speed and Fast Strike skill. It can also have the trait Robber, which is a good way to make money to buy healing items early on. These are your best choices when it comes to Normal-type Coromon.

For other Coromon types, we recommendMino, Frova, Moffel, Lumon, and Fiddly. These are great additions to your team and round out your typing nicely. These recommendations will depend on which starter you choose, so you don’t double up on a type.

For building a team against Voltgar, we recommend choosing Coromon with access toSand or Cut type attacks. This includes Armado, Moffel, and Lumon in particular. These three Coromon were a boon for helping us defeat the first Titan.
