Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands contains a character creator where you will need to define your attributes and pick a character background. As you level up and gain Hero Points, you will need to decide where to allocate them. But you will first need to pick a Background.
Your background will change the attribute totals for two or more of your attributes. This will limit or increase the total number of hero points you can spend on that attribute.
Village Idiot
The Village Idiot background willincrease yourstrength total byeight, anddecrease your intelligence total by three. This background is one of the best as you are only losing three points into Intelligence for a large Strength bonus. Strengthincreases your overall Critical Damage. Intelligencelowers your Spell Cooldown.
Spell Cooldown is short, even with the slight increase to cooldown time. You can easily put three hero points in Intelligence to remove the Spell Cooldown debuff.

Recovering Inventory Hoarder
Recovering Inventory Hoarderincreases your Intelligence by two and Attunement by five.Attunement lowers your Skill Cooldown. You willlose two points of Dexerity and two points of Constitution. Constitution increases your Maximum HP and Ward. Dexterity increases your overall Critical Hit Chance.
This background is a net positive as you gain seven total hero points, while only losing four. This background is a great option for any player that hates cooldown timers and wants to lower their spell and active skill cooldown.
