Horizon Forbidden West has plenty of collectibles, and one type isSurvey Drones. These flying machines are scattered across the world and will only show up on the map once players come into close proximity to them. Collecting these Survey Drones will alter a room in Aloy’s base of operations, with each Drone changing a portion of the room to match the environment where they were discovered. There are ten Survey Drones in total, and each one’s location is detailed below.

Survey Drone: The Stillsands
Players can findSurvey Drone: The Stillsandsby heading south ofRelic Ruins: The Stillsands.
Survey Drone: Thornmarshis situated slightly northeast of theThornmarshsettlement.
Survey Drone: The Graypeak
Survey Drone: Graypeakis a bit off the beaten path, as it is located in the mountains west ofMaw of the Arena.
Survey Drone: Stand of the Sentinels
By heading southeast ofTallneck: Stand of the Sentinels, players will findSurvey Drone: Stand of the Sentinelsalong the coast.
Survey Drone: The Sheerside Mountains
Survey Drone: The Sheerside Mountainsis located at the very top of the map, due north ofThe Bulwark.
Survey Drone: Isle of Spires
After reaching the Isle of Spires, the player will gain access toSurvey Drone: Isle of Spires, which is located west ofLegacy’s Landfall.
