There are many monsters to kill in Lost Ark, specifically in North Vern. you may find all of the monster locations below, which fill up different parts of the Adventurer’s Tome.
Where to find all Monster Locations in North Vern
Balankar Mountains - Empowered Battle Necromancer Monster Location
This monster is located on the east side of the map. It is in theMountain Entrance, east ofStarkeeper’s Houseand southeast ofNecromancer’s Sanctum. The fastest and safest way to get here is by heading south fromRania Village. There are a lot of necromancers around here, so keep an eye out for one with a glowing orb above its head. Your best bet is to get swarmed and kill them all; the monster should be in there.
Balankar Mountains - Malignant Mutant Boss Monster Location
This monster is located at the center of the map. Come in from the center Triport to get to the spot marked above the fastest. It is northeast ofStarkeeper’s Houseand west ofMountain Entrance. These monsters look like Deathclaws from Fallout. It looks like a mutated turtle without the shell that grew horns. As with most monsters, look for the orb above its head.

Balankar Mountains - Mighty Morgue Monster Location
This monster is located on the north side of the map, next to the northern Triport. It is southeast ofVeloran’s Hideoutand northeast ofNecromancer’s Sanctum. This monster is like a minotaur that mutated and has big boils across its shoulders. These are big and tough, so be ready to drink some health potions.
Balankar Mountains - Monsterized Tibeth Monster Location
This monster is located on the west side of the map. It is in theTyron Fortress, west ofNecromancer’s Sanctumand northwest ofStarkeeper’s House. This monster looks a lot like the Malignant Mutant boss. You may see several of these monsters running around with glowing orbs on their heads, so keep an eye out for them.
Fesnar Highland - Broken Skeleton Knight Monster Location
This monster is located on the west side of the map. You can find it in theTomb of Swords, west ofBarrier Trailand northwest ofSpirit Ruins. This monster is exactly how it sounds, it’s a skeleton with knight armor and a sword. You’ll find this one near the sword statue close by.
Fesnar Highland - Escaped Bandit Warhorse Monster Location
This monster is located on the east side of the map. You can find it inRustlers' Lair, southeast ofKnightfalland east ofBarrier Trail. This is just a horse that runs around and is the only one nearby. These are pretty easy to catch.
Fesnar Highland - Necromancer of Darkness Monster Location
This monster is located at the center of the map. It is located inBarrier Trial, east ofTomb of Swordsand west ofRustlers' Lair. These look like regular necromancers, and you’ll see a lot of them in the area. Just keep an eye out for the glowing orb above his head.
This monster is located at the center of the map near the Triport. It is located right next toVine Grove, east ofPierene River,and south ofGolbin Village. These are flying monsters that look like they were once apart of the grass around them. They roam in groups of monsters that look a lot like them, so be sure to focus on those with the glowing orb above their heads.
Parna Forest - Sharp Eyed Tail Slime Monster Location
This monster is located on the southwest side of the map. It is south ofPierene Riverand west ofParna Forest Entrance. Either Triport will take you here quickly, but both will expose you to many monsters on the way. These are just regular blue slimes and are super easy to kill.
Parna Forest - Wanted Wicked Adventurer Monster Location
This monster is located on the east side of the map. You can find it inDeep Forest, east ofVine Groveand northeast ofParna Forest Entrance. This is a swordsman with armor running around. Since this adventurer runs around looking for players to attack, he will most likely find you.
Parna Forest - Forest Zealous Troll Combatant Monster Location
This monster is located on the south side of the map. You can find it inParna Forest Entrance, southVine Groveand north of theRania Villagearea change. This monster looks like a naked demon that paints greenish gray.
This monster is located on the east side of the map. You can find it in Vernese Wilds, east ofVernese Roadand south of theGorgon’s Nestdungeon entrance. This does not look like the regular boars around; this one is three times the size and is gray instead of brown.
As this map is tricky, the best way to get here is to utilize the Triport nearBalankar Ranger Headquartersand take the path that requires you to jump from area to area, instead of the path that allows you to walk around.
This monster is located on the west side of the map. You can find it in Reed Leaf Forest, west ofVernese Roadand north of the area entrance toRania Village. These monsters actually look like leopards and come with two leopards defending them. Keep an eye on the glowing orb above its head.
As this map is tricky, the best way to get here is to utilize the Triport nearBalankar Ranger Headquartersand head west. Do not go to any of the jumping paths, just follow the walking path.

This monster is located at the center of the map. It is east ofReed Leaf Forestand north ofVernese Road. This is a big reindeer running around and can glow before attacking. You won’t miss it if you go to the area marked above.
As this map is tricky, the best way to get here is to utilize the northern Triport near theGorgon’s Nestentrance. Follow the path west around the map, then head south when you reach the center. Stay off the jumping paths.
Vernese Forest - Zealous Leopard Hunter Monster Location
This monster is located on the west side of the map. You can find it in Reed Leaf Forest, west ofNorn FoldandVernese Road. These are humanoid creatures that shoot at and attack the leopards in the area.
The best way to get to here, regardless of Triport, is to stick to the edges of the map and not take any shortcuts.
