Elden Ring is a massive and challenging game. With over 80 bosses, mini-bosses, and optional bosses, it can be extremely challenging to figure out which ones are actually required to beat the game. The only bosses that are required are the Elden Ring Shardbearers and a few others along the way that are on the path to those bosses. The bosses listed below (in no particular order to avoid spoilers) are the ones players will need to seek out to complete the game’s main story.
